uhm

Sino ba ang may karapatang magsabi kung ano ang tama at mali? Kahit gaano mo na kaalam ang isang bagay, wala kang karapatan. Magkakaiba tayo at may iba’t iba tayong utak. At hindi dahil ang iniisip ng iba ay hindi katulad ng iyo, ibig sabihin makitid na ang utak nila. Grabe, STFU. Walang perpekto. At walang kahit na sino ang napakatalino.

JUST SAYING.

Bryony Pearce: Angel’s Fury

After reading Divergent by Veronica Roth, I thought of buying a book since I have some spare time from internship. It’s also for me to get pass boredom at the office while waiting for errands. When I went to the bookstore, I wasn’t really sure what book to buy since I have not checked the best-sellers online. Since I spent sometime choosing and looking, I decided to buy Angel’s Fury by Bryony Pearce.

I didn’t know what really to expect so I just started reading. The book is somewhat related to the World War and involves some German words I never understood nor pronounced correctly. I honestly found it boring for the first half since there was not much process with the story, I was halfway and there was nothing new or thrilling about it.

I was third-way through the book when things got a bit exciting though it didn’t last long since I found it strange because it has this a bit too unrealistic twist before the end. And the ending isn’t that satisfying at all, or because I didn’t really enjoy it at the first place.

It took me some weeks to finish the book since I’m not that hooked to it. I finished it for the sake of finishing it and knowing if its worth it. However, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Today though, I started reading I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. I had my eye on this book for sometime now, I was just looking for a hard-bound copy. Besides, I find it really interesting and thrilling just by looking at the reviews. Luckily, I haven’t watch the movie yet, I’m planning to after reading it. I’m also looking forward to reading Insurgent (Divergent sequel) and some of John Green (as Alex recommended).

(Other) perks of having internship

I am definitely enjoying my internship at Provill so far. It was just amazing to be part of a television commercial. Whenever we don’t have anything to do, I prefer to read so I borrowed Divergent from Faith. So far, I like it. But now that I’m almost done I need a new book to read. Damn, internship makes me a bookworm. But I like it. I enjoy reading books (just not academic) now.

The dramatic 7th episode of season 2 was the last one I was able to watch. I should watch the rest of the season soon.
